Stefano Santi è un architetto e pittore mantovano nato ad Acquafredda nel 1965 e laureato al Politecnico di Milano nel 1993. Dallo stesso anno, l’artista svolge un’intensa attività progettuale presso Studio Santi a Castel Goffredo e dal 2000 si dedica parallelamente alla pittura. A oggi, Santi ha esposto in numerose mostre personali e collettive in molte realtà locali oltre che a Brescia, Mantova, Bologna, Genova e New York. Il suo lavoro ha ricevuto numerosi premi, tra cui una menzione speciale al Premio Internazionale Mestre di Pittura. È stato pubblicato su quotidiani e riviste specializzate, tra cui il Corriere della Sera, il Giorno e AND, rivista di Architettura, Città e Architetti, nell’ambito di una raccolta di opere dal titolo “Dipingere la Città”.

Stefano Santi is an architect and painter born in Acquafredda (Brescia) in 1965. After receiving his degree in architecture in 1993, Santi has extensively practiced architectural design at the Studio Santi of Castel Goffredo (Mantova). Although he has often employed drawing and sketching throughout his architectural profession, he only began oil painting in 2000. Since then, Santi’s paintings have been exhibited in several individual and collective shows across Brescia, Mantua, Bologna, Genoa, and New York. His work received several awards, including a special citation at the Mestre International Painting Award. It was featured on multiple newspapers and specialised magazines, including the Corriere della Sera, il Giorno, and AND- Magazine of Architecture, Cities, and Architects, within an edited collection entitled “Painting the City.”
